Yesterday was so great!!
I slept in then headed over to my parents place. Most of the fam was out and about so I headed to the besties place to have a good ole Memorial day cookout. It was finger lickin' good (literally cause we had us some ribs)
After I left I met up with my Mom and baby sister and as per the family tradition we headed toWalled Lake's Salvation Army for their fifty percent off sale.
^^this S.A. is absolutely the best thrift store I've seen (Most of my wardrobe is from here). Eek! Just wait until you see the treasure I found..
This Street Smart by Betmar felt hat, it's not really worth anything but I think it is going to become my go-to hat when my hair is looking a lil cray.
and..
These AMAZING cowboy boots!!! They have an native american scene printed on them!! The brand is Seychelles but from what I saw on their website they don't really make any like these anymore.. ha I can't wait to clean them up:):)
Even with all the fun I had I did take some time to think about the men and women who are serving and have served our country. I truly am thankful for the freedom that we have in the U.S. and that wouldn't even be possible without people to fight for it.
So thank you to the people and to the families of those who have been lost.
And shout out to my Uncle Bill, you're my favorite vet!
